Two Medical Workers Killed in Russian Strike on Kharkiv Region: Attack Details Emerge.
Strike Near Chervona Khvylia Village
According to TSN.ua: A Russian military attack near the village of Chervona Khvylia has left two medics dead and several civilians wounded. The incident occurred in the Velykyi Burluk hromada area, where multiple people were harmed as a result of the assault.
The victims were male medical professionals aged 27 and 56. A 54-year-old medic was also injured, according to Oleh Syniehubov. In the city of Kupiansk, a 63-year-old woman was wounded in a separate shelling.
Attack on a Scheduled Bus
On March 13, Russian forces struck a scheduled bus traveling from Kharkiv to Velykyi Burluk. The attack killed three people—the driver and two passengers—and wounded four civilians. The military used an Iskander-M missile for the strike. The bus and at least six residential buildings sustained damage.
These events highlight the ongoing violence in Ukraine during the war, particularly the devastating impact on civilians and healthcare workers striving to provide aid. The shelling, carried out with heavy artillery, underscores the escalation of the conflict and endangers the lives of innocent people, including those on the front lines of medical care.
