March 27 Weather in Ukraine: Rain and Strong Winds Expected in the Carpathians.
Weather Forecast for March 27, 2023
According to TSN.ua: On March 27, 2023, Ukraine will experience variable cloud cover, with some regions likely to see rainfall. This weather pattern stems from a low-pressure system tied to a cyclone over the Balkans. In particular, light precipitation is forecast for the Sumy region.
Winds across Ukraine will mainly come from the east, blowing at 5–10 m/s. In the mountainous areas of the Carpathians, gusts could reach 15–20 m/s. Daytime temperatures across the country will range from +13 to +18°C, while in the Carpathians, due to the unique climate, readings will be cooler at +7 to +12°C.
Situation in Kyiv and Western Regions
In Kyiv, variable cloud cover is also expected, but with no precipitation. The capital's temperatures will hover between +15°C and +17°C. Meteorologists highlight a significant avalanche risk in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, which has been assigned a danger level of 3.
“Avalanche hazard warning issued by forecasters”
Given the conditions, residents of western Ukraine should exercise extra caution due to the elevated avalanche threat. This advisory may affect the safety of tourists and locals planning to visit mountainous areas. In other parts of the country, weather changes are expected to be less dramatic, though attention should be paid to the chance of rain in the Sumy region.
