The Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces reported that due to the active operations of the Russian long-range aviation, which is conducting strikes on targets in western Ukraine, Polish and allied aviation has begun to operate in the airspace of Poland. All forces and means available to the commander of the RSZ are on alert. Immediate response is ready to be issued. Polish military personnel are also monitoring the current situation and remain ready to operate.
The Russian troops launched ballistic missiles at the capital at 5 a.m., resulting in casualties in Kyiv. The city's mayor, Vitali Klitschko, reported casualties in the Darnytskyi district who were hospitalized. He also mentioned fires that broke out in several areas of the city.
Additionally, it was reported that Kupiansk was also hit this morning. The Russian army carried out an airstrike on the city and its residential building.
