Employment Quotas for Persons with Disabilities in Ukraine
According to Novyny.live: As of April 2026, Ukrainian law requires that 4% of all jobs in a company be reserved for employees with disabilities. For businesses with 8 to 25 workers, this translates to providing at least one such position. These regulations also establish specific working conditions and leave entitlements for this group.
Work Conditions and Vacation Rights
Annual leave for employees with Group I or II disabilities amounts to 30 calendar days, while those with Group III disabilities receive 26 calendar days. In addition, workers in Groups I and II may take up to 60 calendar days of unpaid leave, compared to 30 days for Group III employees.
It is worth noting that Ukraine’s minimum wage in 2026 is set at 8,647 hryvnias. This figure plays a key role in shaping labor conditions and social protections for people with disabilities.
