Missile Attack Targets Kryvyi Rih

According to TSN.ua: On January 22, Russian forces launched a missile strike on the city of Kryvyi Rih, injuring 11 people, three of whom were children. The attack damaged a two-story apartment building. Among the wounded were an 18-month-old boy, a 55-year-old man, a 58-year-old woman, and three other minors. Kryvyi Rih, a major industrial city in central Ukraine, has been a frequent target during the full-scale invasion.

The number of casualties from this strike rose from an initial five to 11. In a separate attack on the Dnipropetrovsk region during the night of January 21, Russian forces also struck, causing damage to:

  • five apartment buildings
  • nine private houses

In the Synelnykove district, a man and a woman were killed, and a 53-year-old female resident was hospitalized.

This information was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Ganja. The situation remains difficult, and local emergency services are working to clear the aftermath of the attacks.
