Among the drones used are the so-called 'Shahed' models, which have become a key component of Russia’s assault strategy. Russia operates two dedicated drone manufacturing plants located in Izhevsk and Yelabuga. Military expert Oleh Zhdanov stated:

“They have two factories—Izhevsk and Yelabuga,” said Oleh Zhdanov.

“they have a source for obtaining 'Shaheds,'”
