The Russian Federation attacks Ukraine with 'shaheds'. Does Putin ignore the ceasefire?.
On the night of May 12, when a 30-day ceasefire comes into effect, Russia decided not to comply and sent drones to Ukraine. This was reported by the publication 'Glavkom'.
- There is a threat of the use of strike drones from the occupied territories in Kherson region;
- Drones in northern Kherson region are moving southwest towards Dnipropetrovsk region/eastern Mykolaiv region;
- Drones are heading to Kherson from the east.
It is also worth mentioning that explosions have already been heard in Zaporizhia region, but there are no details at the moment.
President Volodymyr Putin expressed readiness for negotiations without preconditions. At the same time, despite the statement on peace, he rejected the proposal for a ceasefire starting May 12, made by the 'coalition of the willing'.
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that if Russia does not agree to a complete and unconditional ceasefire, it will face new sanctions. This occurred after the 'Coalition of the Resolute' meeting, where it was decided that the ceasefire should begin on May 12.
