The Roman Catholic bishop called the act of Pope Francis, which clearly showed that he is on Ukraine's side.

Pope Francis told Patriarch Kirill that he should not be an attendant to Putin. This was reported by Vitaliy Kryvytskyi, the head of the Kyiv-Zhytomyr diocese, in an interview with 'Glavkom'.
Kryvytskyi recounted that Patriarch Kirill spoke with the pope for more than half an hour about the necessity of 'Holy Unity' after the onset of Russian aggression. During this Time, the pope said, 'Brother, I did not understand anything. But I know that we should not serve political leaders.' Kirill understood these words well and after this, the relations between the Vatican and the Moscow Church froze.
The Pope claims that clergy should find ways to peace to stop the use of weapons.
Kryvytskyi emphasized that Ukraine has lost a great defender, and not all Ukrainians appreciated him. Criticism of the Pope does not characterize Ukrainian citizens.
The principles of the information policy of the Catholic Church were established by Jesus Christ, who said: 'Let not your left hand know what your right hand is doing.'
Pope Francis passed away at the age of 88. He will be buried in the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome. The conclave to elect a new Pope will begin on May 7.
