Russia attacks Ukraine with new Shahed drones: How the enemy's tactics have changed.
According to ТСН: In Ukraine, an attack by enemy drones of the Shahed type took place on the night of December 12.
According to information from the Air Forces, the drones are attacking from the north.
The UAVs were spotted over Sumy, moving towards Novhorod-Siverskyi.
Drones were also documented in the Sumy region flying south.
Moreover, air alerts have been declared in several regions due to the threat of ballistic weapons from the east.
It was previously reported that Russia began using modernized attack drones “Shahed,” equipped with old Soviet R-60 missiles, supposedly to target Ukrainian helicopters and bypass air defense systems.
There has also been information that Russia has changed its tactics and has moved to massive attacks on Ukraine in an attempt to target civil infrastructure, which was previously considered critically important and well-protected.
This news indicates ongoing severe threats to Ukraine in the context of the ongoing conflict. The attacks using drones and the new tactics of the aggressor highlight the evolution of combat actions that could have serious consequences for the safety of the civilian population. In this regard, the readiness of the defense forces and the timely response to threats remain of great importance.
