Civilian Vehicle Targeted in Drone Attack
According to TSN.ua: A Russian drone targeted a civilian vehicle in the Shostka district of Ukraine's Sumy region on February 21. The attack likely killed two people and wounded a 56-year-old female passenger. This incident is part of a broader pattern of attacks on non-military targets in the ongoing conflict.
Three people were in the car at the time. The injured 56-year-old woman was hospitalized and is receiving necessary medical care.
"The wounded 56-year-old passenger has been hospitalized, and doctors are providing the necessary assistance," stated Oleh Hyhorov.
There are currently grounds to believe that two individuals died.
"The details are being clarified. My condolences to the family and loved ones," he added.
Escalation on the Border
Occupying forces have intensified combat operations along the border of Sumy and Kharkiv regions. The enemy's objective is to stretch the frontline as much as possible.
