Civilian Casualties Reported in Kharkiv Region Strike
According to UATV: A Russian attack on Ukraine's Kharkiv region on January 30 resulted in one fatality and two people wounded. The assault impacted four separate locations, including a dacha cooperative near the village of Novoosynove and the village of Cherne.
A 47-year-old woman was killed in the dacha cooperative near Novoosynove. In the same area, a 52-year-old woman sustained injuries. Separately, a 54-year-old man was wounded in the village of Cherne.
Attack Details and Weaponry
The assault was carried out using six 'Geran-2' drones and two other drones of a type still under investigation. An unspecified type of missile was also deployed in the attack. Regional Governor Oleh Syniehubov confirmed the casualty figures. This incident is part of the wider war in Ukraine, where frontline regions like Kharkiv face frequent shelling and drone attacks.
