Threats in Kharkiv
According to Novyny.live: During a press conference on June 23, Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, urged residents to take air raid warnings seriously, stating that 95% of these alerts indicate a real danger.
“Either an FPV drone is approaching, one or two Shaheds are incoming, or there is an attack using jet-powered Shaheds,” Syniehubov explained.
The range of guided aerial bomb strikes initially extended 30 kilometers, later reaching 130 kilometers. Jet-powered guided bombs even struck Lozova from positions in the Donetsk region. Over the past day, Kharkiv and 16 settlements in the region came under Russian attacks. One person was killed and eight others were injured in one of these strikes.
Additionally, a 500-kilogram aerial bomb was neutralized in the Kharkiv region. The situation remains tense, and local authorities continue to urge residents to follow safety protocols whenever air raid warnings sound.
Syniehubov’s statements highlight the severity of the threat facing Kharkiv and the critical need for public preparedness. Since the vast majority of air raid alerts prove to be real, it is essential for residents to heed safety recommendations. This information underscores not only the immediate danger but also the resilience of the local community in confronting the challenges of war.
