According to ТСН: On the night of December 23, Russian military forces carried out a new massive drone strike on the southern areas of Odesa region.

According to Oleg Kiper, the head of the Odesa regional military administration, civilian objects were hit, including energy, port, transport, industrial, and residential infrastructure.

“As a result of the strikes, a civil cargo ship and a warehouse were damaged in one area. The roof of a two-story residential building caught fire, and a garage was damaged. The fires were promptly extinguished by rescuers,” emphasized Kiper.

In another area, the attack resulted in damage to windows and roofs in 122 private houses, as well as in three apartment buildings. Additionally, an empty warehouse was affected.

According to data released after the shelling, there were no casualties. However, in the areas where the strikes occurred, there were power supply disruptions.

Critical infrastructure was quickly connected to generators to avoid a complete blackout.

Emergency points were organized in the affected areas; according to morning data, about 900 people have already sought assistance.

Rescue and emergency recovery services are actively working at the sites of the incidents.

“Their work is complicated by constant air alerts,” Kiper summarized.

It is also known that as a result of the massive strike on December 23, a two-story apartment building in Rivne region was damaged due to the shock wave that shattered windows.

In Zhytomyr region, six people were injured due to shelling, with damage to residential buildings, private enterprises, and a shop.

It is worth noting that in the Sviatoshyn district of Kyiv, fragments from the strike caused damage to windows in a residential building, resulting in injuries to three people.

This attack marked a new phase of aggression against Ukraine, confirming the ongoing threat to the civilian population and critical infrastructure. Authorities and rescue services continue to work to ensure the safety of the population and restore damaged facilities. The situation remains complex, and residents of the affected areas need support and assistance.
