Russians attacked ports in Odesa region at night: which facilities were hit.
According to ТСН: On the night of December 21, Russian military carried out another massive attack on the Odesa region, focusing on the civilian infrastructure of the south of the region.
The head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper, reported in his Telegram channel that this attack was extremely powerful, and Russian troops attempted to hit facilities that ensure the livelihood of the region:
port infrastructure;
transport hubs;
industrial facilities.
Consequences of the shelling
As a result of the attacks and the falling debris at the strike sites, fires broke out, and various objects were damaged. Rescue services quickly responded to calls to eliminate the aftermath. According to the OVA, it was possible to avoid human casualties and injuries.
“Fortunately, there were no casualties,” emphasized the head of the OVA.
The authorities once again urge residents of the region not to ignore air alarm signals and to stay in shelters during danger.
In addition, the current situation with electricity and water in Odesa region is being considered.
“The issues with electricity are still present, power outage schedules are in effect, but overall the situation has stabilized. A week ago, there was a complete blackout in the city, and now electricity supply to the homes of Odesites has been restored. Electricity is provided according to schedules, and we hope that this situation will remain unchanged. When the schedules are clear and adhered to, it is much easier for people to plan their lives,” said Sergey Sizonenko, a deputy of the Odesa District Council.
This news once again confirms that Odesa region continues to face challenges due to active hostilities. The situation in the region remains tense, but thanks to the efforts of rescue services and local authorities, serious human losses have been avoided. The situation with electricity is also improving, allowing residents to plan their daily lives.
