Russia fired rockets at Kyiv: photos of the aftermath.
On April 6, Russian occupiers carried out a rocket attack on Kyiv, resulting in fires in three districts of the city. This was reported by Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko and the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachенко.
Vitaliy Klitschko initially spoke about emergency teams that were called to the Darnytskyi and Obolonskyi districts. In turn, Timur Tkachенко reported fires in these areas.
'As a result of the enemy attack, fires were recorded in the Darnytskyi and Obolonskyi districts. Rescuers are heading to the scene,' noted the head of the KMVA.
Later, Vitaliy Klitschko clarified that fires also broke out in the Solomyanskyi district, and victims have already been hospitalized. In the Darnytskyi district, medics hospitalized two people, reported the mayor.
Fires occurred in non-residential buildings in the Obolonskyi, Darnytskyi, and Solomyanskyi districts, Klitschko said.
In the Darnytskyi district, three people were injured, and eight vehicles were damaged. In the Obolonskyi district, where an office center caught fire, the building began to collapse.
Rescue services continue to work at the sites of the strikes.
