Goals of the attacks
Earlier, an expert explained the strategic goals of the Russian Federation regarding Odesa region.
"The attempt to cut off Bessarabia is definitely an attempt to isolate the south of the region from the mainland part of Odesa, complicating our logistics, particularly the logistics routes to Europe, which are critical and important for our trade and economic situation. The Russians realize this," emphasized Ukrainian Armed Forces officer and political scientist Andriy Tkauchuk.
This attack indicates the constant attempts of the aggressor to influence strategic positions in this region, particularly by complicating logistics and supply. It underscores the importance of protecting critical infrastructure and Ukraine's readiness to withstand such challenges.
The noted actions may worsen the economic situation, but at the same time strengthen international support for Ukraine in its struggle for sovereignty and territorial integrity.
