Russians attacked DTEK facility in Odesa region: 51,800 families without power.
According to ТСН: At night, Russian forces attacked the energy facility of DTEK in the Odesa region.
The company reported that 9,500 families were reconnected through backup schemes. Another 51,800 are temporarily without power. Power engineers are already working in an enhanced mode to restore electricity as soon as possible.
DTEK noted that the damage is severe, and repairs will take some time.
Previous attacks
It should be noted that on December 4, Odesa again suffered a powerful drone attack, resulting in injuries to six people.
On December 3, Russian drones also attacked the energy infrastructure of the Odesa region. As a result of the strike, a fire broke out in the Odesa district, and equipment was damaged. An employee of the enterprise was injured.
The recent events in the Odesa region underline the alarm regarding the security of energy facilities in Ukraine. Attacks on energy infrastructure complicate life for local residents and raise questions about the restoration of electricity supply. Power engineers continue to work to restore all consumers to normal operation as quickly as possible.
