Russians have stopped frontal assaults in the Pokrovsk direction: 'Hortytsia' spokesperson named the reason.
Ukrainian positions in the Pokrovsk direction are no longer being attacked head-on by the Russian army due to the preservation of personnel. This was reported by Viktor Trehubov, spokesperson for the Joint Forces Operation 'Hortytsia'.
According to him, Russian occupiers are not reinforcing their forces in the Pokrovsk direction with new reserves, but are redeploying units from neighboring sections of the front - Novopavlivsk or Toretsky directions.
'This does not have a significant impact on the overall number - there are quite a few of them there to constantly rotate and carry out replacements,' Trehubov emphasized.
The spokesperson for the Joint Forces Operation 'Hortytsia' noted that the enemy in the Pokrovsk direction is trying to preserve their personnel.
'We see that they are not using the tactic of simple attacks in Pokrovsk, regardless of losses. In other words, now they have started to pay a little more attention to this,' Trehubov explained.
Recall that the Russians in the Pokrovsk direction lack the resources to implement the tactics of frontal attacks using 'cannon fodder'. This was reported by Major Viktor Trehubov, spokesperson for the operational-strategic grouping of troops 'Hortytsia'.
Earlier, we reported that Russian soldiers raised their flag on one of the hills near Pokrovsk. It was destroyed by Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance.
By the way, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported on personnel changes in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Major General Mykhailo Drapaty was appointed head of the operational-strategic grouping of troops 'Hortytsia'.
