Russian bombs hit residential areas of Zaporizhzhia: seven injured, ruins.

According to ТСН: Today in Zaporizhzhia, following another airstrike, strong explosions were heard. Russian terrorists used guided bombs, targeting residential areas. One of the explosions occurred in a private sector, leaving a huge crater and destroyed buildings. Seven people were injured, and local residents who managed to survive recount the horrors they experienced.

In one of the city’s districts, a deep crater appeared, walls were torn apart, and belongings were scattered. The couple Maria and Anatoliy are still in shock after their home was turned to rubble in a second.

Vyacheslav, the owner of a neighboring two-story house, sustained a head injury. The man can barely stand:

“Ringing in my ears, I still can’t recover.”

Mr. Oleksandr, who was at home with his thirteen-year-old child at the time of the attack, recounts that his reaction was instantaneous: he rushed to his child.

Liliia barely holds back tears recalling the first moments after the explosion. Her 13-year-old son was home alone, as he had connected to remote learning.

“The child was home, in 8th grade, connected to lessons. While we took the younger one to school and went to choose a Christmas tree. My son called, saying — something exploded and neighbors are burning something. The radiator was blown out on the second floor, and he was sitting next to it, and the window next to it — I don’t know, God led him away,”

Consequences of terror: dozens of damaged houses

According to the correspondent’s estimates, at least two houses were completely destroyed, and dozens were left without roofs, windows, and doors. Seven people were injured, mostly with symptoms of stress and ear injuries.

In addition to the residential sector, the territories of local enterprises were also damaged. In another district of the city, an impact was noted, resulting in one person being injured.

Rescuers, medics, and utility services are currently working at the attack sites. People are trying to save at least some belongings from the rubble of their homes.
