Russians attacked a civilian ship with Ukrainian soy in the port of Odesa.
According to ТСН: Russian troops attacked a civilian ship in the port of Odesa.
Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba reported this on Telegram.
As the minister noted, the ship flying the flag of Lebanon was carrying Ukrainian soy.
Fortunately, there were no casualties.
Attacks on infrastructure
Earlier, the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration Oleg Kiper reported that Russian forces are striking the energy, port, civilian, and transport infrastructure of the region.
It was also revealed that the Russian Federation aims to isolate southern Ukraine and Odesa. The Russian army is deliberately destroying the logistical infrastructure of the region. The day before, the occupiers launched a ballistic strike on port infrastructure, resulting in eight fatalities.
These events in Odesa indicate an escalation of military actions in southern Ukraine, where attacks on civilian objects are becoming more frequent. Recent incidents highlight the danger to local residents and the importance of port infrastructure for the country's economy. In the context of active military operations, Ukraine needs to enhance the protection system for civilian objects and ensure their safety.
