Details of the attack

The head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov, reported:

“The enemy is attacking Zaporizhzhia. There is a hit on a residential building.”

He also added that Russian troops struck one of the city’s infrastructure facilities. The consequences are still being clarified, and the threat remains:

Impact on the population

It soon became known that Russia carried out three strikes on Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia region, hitting two residential buildings. Ivan Fedorov noted:

“Preliminarily, there may be people under the rubble.”

A woman in the Kushiugum community was also injured and is receiving necessary medical assistance.

Earlier, the Russian army attacked a multi-storey building in Zaporizhzhia using drones, and during the aftermath, the enemy carried out repeated rocket strikes.

Injured as a result of the attacks

It has been reported that three individuals were injured as a result of the attack:

• A man who suffered severe carbon monoxide poisoning;

• Another man with shrapnel wounds;

• An elderly woman who was provided assistance on the spot.

These events highlight the ongoing threat facing the residents of Zaporizhzhia.
