According to ТСН: On the night of December 12, Russia struck a DTEK substation in the Odesa region.
The consequences of the attack were reported by DTEK.
"This is already the twentieth substation that has suffered significant damage in the region. Another energy company's facility was also hit. We have managed to restore power to 40 thousand families through backup schemes. Another 90 thousand temporarily remain without electricity," the company said in a statement.
In addition, Russian troops attacked Odesa, resulting in damage to residential buildings and infrastructure. Communal services are actively working to clear the area, installing temporary structures on blown-out windows and addressing the needs of those affected.
These attacks underscore the continuation of Russia's aggression against Ukraine and its impact on the energy infrastructure. Authorities and responsible services are trying to restore electricity supply and ensure the safety of citizens amid constant threats.
