Russians attacked Zaporizhzhia for the second time in a day: there are casualties and destruction.
According to ТСН: On December 19, Russian troops launched airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia. As a result of these attacks, there were partial destructions, damage to buildings, and casualties.
This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia OVA, Ivan Fedorov, and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
Details of the attacks
The airstrikes hit the city and led to damage to private houses and garages, with several fires occurring.
In one case, a two-story private residential building was partially destroyed, and the blast wave damaged neighboring buildings: windows and doors were blown out, and facades and roofs were damaged.
Casualties and assistance
According to preliminary data, four people were injured in the attack: women aged 36, 72, and 78 years, as well as a 68-year-old man. One of the women exhibited an acute stress reaction, which medical personnel addressed on the scene.
Psychologists from the State Emergency Service provided assistance to five people, including one child.
Emergency services are actively working at the scene.
Previous attacks
It is worth noting that Russian occupiers attacked Zaporizhzhia on December 18 as well, focusing on the city’s civilian infrastructure.
Earlier, on December 17, the invaders carried out airstrikes on houses in Zaporizhzhia, resulting in 30 people being injured, including five children.
These events are part of the ongoing aggression that threatens the lives of civilians in Ukraine. Violence and attacks on civilian objects continue to cause concern among the population and the international community. Emergency services are working to provide assistance to the victims and eliminate the consequences of the attacks.
