Drone Attack Strikes Dnipro on March 4, 2023
According to TSN.ua: On March 4, 2023, the Russian military launched an attack on the city of Dnipro. According to Oleksandr Ganzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, there were no casualties reported as a result of the strike. This attack is part of a wider pattern of assaults on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure that have intensified since the full-scale invasion began.
"The enemy struck Dnipro. Preliminary information indicates no one was injured. The consequences of the attack are being clarified," stated Oleksandr Ganzha.
During the assault, a Russian Shahed drone crashed just 10 meters from the private residence of Dnipro's Mayor, Borys Filatov. An air raid alert remained in effect across the region as of 4:05 PM local time.
"The drone fell directly next to his home, but this is not considered a targeted assassination attempt," said Borys Filatov.
Authorities have stated the regional situation remains under control.
