Russia Launches New Wave of Drone Attacks on Ukraine
According to Espreso.tv: On the night of May 29, Russia resumed its campaign of drone strikes targeting civilian and infrastructure sites across Ukraine. During one of these assaults, a Russian drone crossed into Romanian airspace and crashed onto the roof of an apartment building in the city of Galati. The impact sparked a fire, leaving two people injured.
According to reports, several Russian drones were shot down while flying over Ukraine, as confirmed by Nicusor Dan. In response, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Kyiv stands ready to assist Bucharest in any way necessary. This incident highlights the growing threat that drone warfare poses to neighboring countries and underscores the urgent need for international cooperation to address these challenges.
