This attack is part of a pattern of strikes on Ukraine's second-largest city, which lies close to the Russian border.
The strikes in the district caused severe damage. According to Ihor Terekhov,
"an enemy 'Shahed' drone hit the Saltivka district", leading to the destruction. The impact of the unmanned aerial vehicle on this area of Kharkiv ignited fires in apartments within the residential block, resulting in injuries to residents.
Among the injured is a 57-year-old man who was hurt in the attack. Another victim is currently receiving medical assistance. The full consequences of the attack are still being assessed.
