Combined missile-drone strike in Kyiv

According to ТСН: As a result of the combined missile-drone strike by the Russian army in Kyiv, one of the administrative buildings of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine was damaged.

Deputy Minister of Education and Science Andriy Vitrenko reported that, fortunately, there were no casualties among the ministry staff and visitors.

“Currently, emergency services are working at the scene — the debris is being cleared and the consequences of the strike are being addressed.”

Vitrenko noted that the ministry is taking necessary measures to maintain key functions amid limited access to the damaged building.

“Despite the systematic attempts of the aggressor to destabilize the activities of state institutions, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine is operating in a normal mode and continues to fulfill its tasks of supporting the educational process, developing science, and deepening international cooperation.”

It is also reported that as a result of the massive strike on Kyiv, one person has died, and the number of injured has risen to 28. Of these, 13 people were hospitalized in the city’s medical facilities.

This strike is yet another manifestation of aggression against Ukraine, which not only causes physical damage but also affects the moral state of the population. The ministry continues its operations despite the tense situation, indicating its resilience in these challenging times. In response to these events, rescue services are actively working to eliminate the consequences of the attack and to support the safety of citizens.
