Conscripts wanted by the TCC can enroll in higher education institutions: what may be the obstacles.
A conscript citizen of Ukraine, who is wanted for violating military registration, can enroll in higher educational institutions in the country. However, there may be problems for the individual in such situations.
This was reported by lawyer Vladislav Deryi on the 'Yuristy.UA' portal.
Regarding being wanted and enrolling in a university
A citizen who is wanted for violating military registration (the information is present in the 'Reserve+' system) contacted the lawyers.
This person asked whether they have the right to enroll in a higher education institution with such a note in their electronic military registration document.
'Violating military registration rules may lead to administrative liability, but this does not prevent enrollment in a university,'emphasized lawyer Vladislav Deryi in his response.
Possible problems at the level of the higher education institution
However, the lawyer noted that such a citizen may face difficulties when enrolling in a university.
'Much depends on the policy of the university management,'Deryi remarked.
Unfortunately, the lawyer acknowledged, not all universities are accommodating to their applicants.
'If you encounter problems, demand a written refusal to accept documents. After that, you can appeal it to the Ministry of Education or through the court,'explained Vladislav Deryi on how to act in such a case.
Ukrainian lawyer Vladislav Deryi emphasized that violating military registration does not hinder enrollment in higher educational institutions but may affect the admissions procedure due to certain issues that may arise at the level of the educational institution itself.
