New tactic of Shahid: drones attack Kyiv at the height of residential buildings.
According to ТСН: During the recent drone attack on Kyiv, a new dangerous tactic of the enemy was registered — drones now fly at a much lower altitude than before.
New enemy tactics
Analyzing the situation, military observer Bohdan Myrosznikov notes that Shahed-type drones, which previously flew at an altitude of about 25–30 floors, now operate at a level of 17–22 floors or even lower. This leads to the fact that drones more frequently fly directly over densely populated districts of the capital, such as Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, and Desnianskyi.
Consequences of the attacks
As of now, there are reports of direct hits on more than five high-rise residential buildings. Significant damage has also been recorded in several dozen more structures due to shockwaves and falling debris. Information regarding the extent of damages and the number of injured is currently being verified.
Increased risk for civilians
Myrosnikov emphasizes that this change in drone flight altitude is not accidental and may indicate the intention of Russian troops to increase civilian casualties.
Possibility of using other types of weapons
The question of the enemy's possible use of other weapons types, such as ballistic missiles, “Kinzhal” or “Iskander” type cruise missiles, remains unclear.
We remind you that earlier an air alert was announced in Kyiv. Residents of the capital are advised to remain in shelters until the alert is lifted.
This new tactic of attacks demonstrates the evolution of methods of conducting warfare by the enemy, which puts the civilian population at even greater risk. In the face of ongoing threats, it is important to remain vigilant and follow safety instructions during alarms.
