NATO Summit in the Netherlands: who sat with Zelensky during dinner at the royal residence.
During the NATO summit, a dinner was held at the royal palace of the Netherlands, organized by King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky sat at the table next to the Queen of the Netherlands, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.
At the neighboring table sat US President Donald Trump, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. The dinner menu featured seared tuna with Amsterdam pickled cucumber mousse, veal fillet with chanterelle sauce, potatoes, and asparagus. For dessert, world leaders were treated to chocolate tart with soft caramel and vanilla sauce.
The NATO summit is taking place on June 24-25 in The Hague. World leaders gathered near the residence of the King of the Netherlands in The Hague for the official dinner marking the opening of the NATO summit. Trump and Zelensky already crossed paths during a joint posing for journalists, but no personal communication between the presidents was recorded.
On the first day of the NATO summit, participants discussed not only geopolitical issues but also had the opportunity to support and strengthen international ties during informal communication with key partners. We hope that the results of the summit will bring new ideas and solutions for cooperation among NATO member countries.
