She experienced symptoms including weakness, nausea, dehydration, stomach pain, and a complete loss of appetite, which led her to seek urgent medical assistance. A doctor was called to her location and administered an intravenous drip to treat her condition.
Dimopoulos believes she contracted an illness locally in Bali. She described her ordeal, stating:
“I've had weakness, dizziness, nausea, dehydration, stomach pain, and a total lack of appetite all day. I called a doctor because I wasn't getting any better. I picked up something here in Bali.”
