His mother, Kateryna Repyakhova, reported that the boy first fell ill with a runny nose, but his condition deteriorated. Doctors diagnosed him with bilateral purulent otitis, a severe ear infection requiring urgent treatment.
Kateryna Repyakhova stated,
“It’s bilateral acute purulent otitis, and the first antibiotics… It all started with a runny nose, and now we have this complication.”Physicians have prescribed a course of antibiotics, which is the standard treatment for this type of bacterial infection. Such infections are a common childhood ailment, especially following a cold or flu.
