Syrsky met with bloggers and caused outrage online.
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky met with military and civilian bloggers
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky met with military and civilian bloggers who write about military topics. He wrote about this on his Facebook page.
Their attention to important problems in the Armed Forces helps us respond quickly and seek solutions. We openly discussed the situation at the front. The details included issues of reforming the Armed Forces, creating new brigades, changing brigade commanders, and other questions that concern society.
Such meetings will continue to be held, noted the commander-in-chief.
Thank you for your consistent support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and for conveying the truth about the heroic struggle of Ukrainians against the occupiers. We are strong when we are together.
Despite the call for unity, an active discussion unfolded in the comments to the post. Many users pointed out that some well-known bloggers, such as Yuriy Butusov, Yaniina Sokolova, and Serhiy Sternenko, were not invited.
Why is Butusov not here? Only obedient ones are present.
Are these all the convenient bloggers, or is there someone else?
Syrsky also receives responses that he did not name the invited bloggers because not everyone knows them.
Dear Oleksandr Stanislavovych, I have a question. If you are negotiating with bloggers you trust, why didn't you mention their names? I, for example, do not know them all. I am interested in who they are, what they say, and analyze on their channels. Thank you for your attention!
Earlier, the Chief of General Staff said what he does with Syrsky at midnight.
In addition, in a special interview with 'Glavkom', the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Anatoliy Baryhlejev, said that the situation at the front is currently complicated but not critical. The most intense battles, compared to other directions, are taking place in Khursk.
According to him, there are currently about 50 thousand elite enemy troops in Khursk - the marine corps and airborne troops, and almost 11 thousand North Korean soldiers have arrived here.
