According to TSN.ua: Rain and a slight drop in temperatures are expected across Ukraine on Monday, March 30, with the western region seeing the most noticeable shift. According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, overnight lows in the west will range from +4°C to +8°C, while daytime highs will settle between +13°C and +15°C.

Regional Temperature Breakdown

  • Northern Regions: Overnight temperatures between +6°C and +8°C, with daytime highs reaching +13°C to +17°C.
  • Central Regions: Nighttime lows of +6°C to +8°C, and daytime highs of +13°C to +17°C.
  • Southern Regions: Overnight lows from +6°C to +8°C, with daytime temperatures climbing to +16°C to +18°C.
  • Eastern Regions: Similar nighttime temperatures of +6°C to +8°C, and daytime highs ranging from +15°C to +17°C.
Vitaliy Postryhan, head of the Cherkasy Hydrometeorological Center, noted that early April will bring a Scandinavian chill to Ukraine, significantly lowering the temperature baseline.

The weather patterns observed in Ukraine at the end of March signal a seasonal shift and the approach of colder conditions. It is worth noting that these temperature fluctuations could impact agricultural activities, as farmers must factor in the weather when planning their sowing campaigns. Additionally, the changing weather may affect energy consumption, as dropping temperatures could increase the demand for heating.

He also emphasized that temperatures around +15°C are typical for late April.

A cold air mass from the north is expected to move in during the first days of April.
