The widow of Kadenyuk denied the involvement of a relative in her son's death: what is known.
According to ТСН: The widow of astronaut Leonid Kadenyuk firmly denied rumors about the possible involvement of relatives in the death of her son Dmitry, calling such information 'complete lies'.
She expressed her position in a comment to TCH.ua.

The woman emphasized that the rumors about someone from her relatives being involved in her son's death are completely false.
‘Complete lies about the involvement of a relative’,– she noted.
The widow reported that she is negotiating with the police, but did not disclose other details of the case.
The situation with the investigation
Sources in law enforcement reported that the qualification of the event has not yet been determined.
‘It is currently correct to say that a dead man with stab wounds was found. Experts are establishing the details’,– police officials in Kyiv stated.
It should be noted that the body of 41-year-old Dmitry Kadenyuk, son of Leonid Kadenyuk, was found in Kyiv on December 10. According to sources, numerous stab wounds were found on the body of the deceased, and a knife was found in his hand. The nature of the injuries may indicate a struggle, but no suicide note was found. The police have opened a criminal case for 'intentional murder'.
Moreover, according to media reports, conflicts arose within the family regarding inheritance, particularly concerning an apartment in Pechersk, after the death of Leonid Kadenyuk. Dmitry's mother, Vera Kadenyuk, also spoke about threats received from the astronaut's son from his first marriage.
The investigation is ongoing, and law enforcement is trying to clarify all the circumstances of the tragedy. The situation is generating operational interest not only among close relatives but also in wider circles of society.
