The son of astronaut Kadenyuk found dead: police considers the version of suicide.
According to ТСН: The investigation into the death of the 41-year-old son of the first Ukrainian astronaut Leonid Kadenyuk continues in Kyiv, who was found with stab wounds. The police classify this case as intentional murder marked as 'suicide'.
According to law enforcement officials, the deceased suffered from depressive disorders, which worsened his condition. The day before, he had a nervous breakdown, and his mother found him lifeless in the morning and called the police.
Details of the incident
The front door to the apartment was locked, with no visible signs of forced entry, and the knife, with which the injuries were presumably inflicted, was held in the deceased's hand.
The residents of the building did not hear any sounds of struggle or noise during the incident.
Investigators and experts worked at the scene, conducted initial investigative actions, analyzed video footage from surveillance cameras, and interviewed witnesses.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated under part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The body of the deceased has been sent for forensic examination to determine the final cause of death.

Earlier, the widow of astronaut Leonid Kadenyuk denied rumors about possible involvement of family members in the son's death, describing them as 'complete lies'.
