Deadly car accident in Chernihiv region: combine harvester collided with a car, a woman died.

According to ТСН: In the Nizhyn district, an accident occurred, resulting in one person dead: a combine harvester collided with a passenger car.

According to the Chernihiv region police, a 36-year-old combine driver was involved in a traffic accident with a passenger car driven by a 29-year-old woman.

«The female driver of the car died, and her minor passenger sustained injuries. The police detained the combine driver and placed him in a temporary detention facility,»

the police report stated.

Investigation of the accident

Investigative authorities have already launched a preliminary investigation under Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which concerns violations of traffic safety rules that led to death.

It should be noted that recently another deadly traffic accident occurred in the Odesa region, in which teenagers died as a result of a collision between a car driver and a motorcyclist.
