Attack of Russian Forces on Poltava Region
According to ТСН: As a result of a large-scale combined attack by Russian forces in the Poltava region, fires broke out at industrial and energy facilities.
According to information from rescuers, some of the fires have been localized and extinguished. The State Emergency Service reports that 190 rescuers and 50 units of special equipment have been involved in addressing the consequences of the attack. Work on localization and firefighting is ongoing.
Rescuers are working in an enhanced mode to prevent further spread of the fire and minimize threats to the population and critical infrastructure of the region.
It was also previously reported that as a result of nighttime missile strikes on energy infrastructure in Poltava and Chernihiv regions, some Ukrainian regions were left without electricity.
These events highlight the alarm with which Ukrainian regions, including Poltava, are facing under the pressure of military aggression. Authorities and rescue services continue to work to ensure safety, but the situation remains complex, impacting the lives of many people.
