Ukraine moves towards NATO: what steps have already been taken and what lies ahead.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk confidently stated that Ukraine's membership in NATO remains an important guarantee of security. The parliament has already adopted numerous laws aimed at bringing the country closer to the Alliance and is ready to continue this work.
'We say that the best security guarantee for us is in NATO. The Ukrainian parliament has already adopted a large number of legislative acts, I will not mention, again, the statistics are available. We are ready to further move this cart, we are ready to continue along this path, because for us the issue of internal compatibility with NATO, with the Alliance, is a matter of internal challenge', he emphasized.
Stefanchuk also stressed that Ukraine will continue to implement its strategy for NATO membership. Recently, President Zelensky responded to Russia's demands regarding the non-joining of the country to NATO and the EU. Donald Trump also expressed his attitude towards Russia's demands regarding NATO and the end of the war in Ukraine.
Ukraine continues to move towards NATO membership, confirming its security and readiness to cooperate with the Alliance.
