Judge from Kharkiv Region Hit Two Teenage Girls at a Crosswalk: SBI is Investigating.
According to ТСН: Investigators from the State Bureau of Investigation are conducting a case regarding a traffic accident involving a judge of the district court of Kharkiv region. Recently, a female driver hit two underage girls at a pedestrian crossing.
Both girls, aged 13 and 14, sustained injuries of varying severity and were taken to the hospital.
According to preliminary information, the driver was sober.
Investigation Data
The case is being investigated under the signs of a criminal offense according to part 2 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Currently, a notice of suspicion is being prepared.
The procedural supervision is carried out by the Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office.
It is also worth mentioning that previously, a preventive measure was chosen for a police officer in the Desnyansky District Court of Chernihiv, who during the performance of official duties hit a 6-year-old girl in Pryluky.
This situation, as well as several other cases of traffic accidents involving children, highlights the importance of road safety. It is expected that the results of the investigation will help determine the degree of responsibility of the perpetrator and prevent similar incidents in the future.
