In the Rivne region, a man amputated his acquaintance's fingers with a knife and hammer: details of a brutal attack.
The conflict in the village of Holubne ended with finger amputations
According to ТСН: In the village of Holubne, a 24-year-old man during a quarrel amputated two fingers of his 22-year-old acquaintance, accusing him of stealing money. He used a knife and a hammer for this.
It is known that the day before, a dispute arose between the homeowner and his guest. During the conflict, the older man accused the younger one of stealing money a few days ago. Demanding the return of the 'stolen', the 24-year-old grabbed a knife and a hammer, brutally cutting off two fingers on his acquaintance's hand.
The victim managed to seek medical assistance and report the incident to the law enforcement authorities.
During a search in the attacker’s home, police found a bloodied knife, a hammer, and the casing of a combat grenade 'F-1' with a fuse.
The investigator opened criminal proceedings under the articles on intentional infliction of moderate bodily harm and illegal handling of weapons, military ammunition, or explosive substances. The question of notifying the offender of suspicion is being resolved.
Police have also launched a pre-trial investigation into the theft of money, which may have been committed by a previously convicted 22-year-old man. All circumstances are being established.
By the way, the Dnipro appellate court increased the sentence for a man who attacked teenagers in a children's playground, fatally wounding one of them. The boy died in the hospital. Thus, the punishment for the killer was increased to 15 years in prison.
This incident in the village of Holubne shows how conflicts can lead to tragic consequences. It is essential to pay attention to ways of resolving disputes as aggression only exacerbates the situation and can result in severe consequences not only for the participants in the conflict but also for their loved ones.
