Mobilization in Ukraine - latest news
In 2026, mobilization in Ukraine may face new challenges. Military analyst Ivan Tymochko notes that under the conditions of prolonged hostilities, the Armed Forces of Ukraine may be forced to recruit more personnel than they currently have.
According to Tymochko, Russia is exerting pressure and actively using its forces, while Ukraine, due to limited resources, will focus on the technological aspects of defense. He emphasizes that the decision on further mobilization will depend on the developments at the front and the intensity of the hostilities.
Additionally, the Kyiv Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support clarified who else can hand out summonses besides employees of the TCK. This includes representatives of district and city state administrations, executive committees, as well as SBU units.
Summonses can be handed out at places of residence, work, study, in public places, at territorial centers, and at checkpoints. This system aims to ensure the effective mobilization of military personnel if needed.
The situation with mobilization in Ukraine remains tense. The death of priest Orest Chornyi was yet another heavy blow for his relatives and community, highlighting the price many Ukrainians are paying in this war. In the context of military mobilization, society continues to seek ways to support those who serve and protect the country.
