The government will create a commission to select the head of customs: who can lead the service.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliya Svyrydenko held a meeting with Minister of Finance Serhiy Marchenko
During the meeting, she decided to create a competitive commission to select a new head of the State Customs Service, as Svyrydenko reported on Telegram at the beginning of August.

'It is important to conduct this selection transparently and professionally,'Svyrydenko emphasized. She noted that the customs service should meet European standards and contribute to the state budget revenues.
It is planned that the issue of forming the competitive commission will be reviewed at the next Cabinet of Ministers meeting.
It also became known about the appointment of new ambassadors of Ukraine by Volodymyr Zelensky and the vote of the Verkhovna Rada for the appointment of the new government.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Yuliya Svyrydenko ordered the creation of a competitive commission to select a new head of the State Customs Service. The goal is to conduct the selection fairly and professionally, as well as to improve the operation of customs in accordance with European standards.
