The world must stop falling for Russian manipulations – Zelensky.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky sharply condemned the shelling of villages in Poltava region by Russian troops in the evening. He noted that the Russians carried out a combined attack on the region's energy infrastructure at night, using various types of missiles and drones. Protective measures helped shoot down many missiles and drones, preventing casualties among the civilian population, however, the infrastructure became a target for destruction. Zelensky called such actions by Russia deceptive, as the country tries to appear as a peacemaker on the world stage.
In addition, Zelensky expressed strong criticism towards Russian President Vladimir Putin, who attempts to act as a mediator in conflicts in the Middle East while his troops continue to shell Ukrainian territories. Zelensky urged the international community to fundamentally respond to Russia's actions and not to believe in its manipulations and deceit.
