Night drone attack on Cherkasy: part of the city left without electricity.
According to ТСН: Last night, Cherkasy fell victim to a massive attack by enemy drones, resulting in part of the city being left without electricity.
Details of the attack
The head of the regional military administration, Ihor Taburets, commented on the situation:
"A difficult night for our Cherkasy region. The enemy launched a massive attack on the regional center with strike drones. Currently, six people have sought help from medics."
He noted that Russian forces targeted critical infrastructure, leading to power outages. Energy workers are already working to restore electricity supply.
Consequences of the attack
As a result of drones falling in several places, buildings were damaged: at least one and a half dozen private homes. Preliminary inspection results indicate damage to windows and roofs, and there have been recorded cases of fires. The windows of the sports complex were damaged, and cars were affected.
This attack on Cherkasy further confirms the threat posed by enemy drones to the civilian population. The situation in the region will remain tense, so it is important to stay vigilant and be prepared for possible new incidents. Restoring electricity supply and eliminating the aftermath of the attack are priorities for local authorities and emergency services.
