Latest news from Mykolaiv
This information was confirmed by the regional military administration. It is known that:
- At night and in the morning, the enemy attacked critical and industrial infrastructure.
- Settlements in Bashtanka and Mykolaiv districts were left without electricity.
- Currently, work is ongoing to restore electricity, and there are no reports of casualties.
The mayor of the city, Oleksandr Senkevych, also mentioned the explosions:
“Again, explosions are heard. The threat continues!”
Today in Mykolaiv, it was decided to change the operation mode of electric transport. Instead of regular trams, PTS trolleybuses with an autonomous range of up to 20 km (until fully discharged) will operate.
“The operation of Dnipro trams and trolleybuses is temporarily suspended. Also, the distribution of purified water by tram and trolleybus will not take place temporarily.”.
It is reminded that on the night of December 13, Ukraine was attacked with Kinzhal ballistic missiles. According to monitoring channels, energy infrastructure facilities were damaged.
Persistent shelling and attacks on critical facilities affect the lives of local residents, forcing them to take emergency measures to ensure safety. Restoration of electricity supply and changes in the operation of electric transport are part of efforts aimed at supporting the population in difficult conditions.
