Forest Therapy: A New Trend of Relaxation in Ukraine for Stress Relief.
A New Autumn Passion – Forest Bathing
According to The Sun: This autumn season, beach vacations should not be chosen as a new popular tradition, gaining traction among families – forest bathing.
The origins of this practice date back to Japan, where it is known as “Shinrin yoku”.

According to the Forestry Commission England:
“A simple method of being calm and quiet among trees, observing nature around and breathing deeply can help both adults and children relieve tension and improve health naturally.”
Recently, many celebrities have appreciated this practice, including Kate Middleton and Kate Garraway, who shared their experiences. Some experts believe it should be included in the recommendations of the National Health Service to improve mental and physical health.
Research, according to data from New Scientist, claims that forest bathing can lower blood pressure and inflammatory processes. The company Hoseasons notes that such studies allow families to slow down their pace and enjoy the scenery of the country.
The Popularity of Forest Bathing in Autumn
This practice is particularly popular in autumn when “the rustling of golden leaves replaces the sound of waves.” Hoseasons CEO Gemma Brown told Sun Travel:
“This autumn, we expect more people to choose forest cabin holidays as an alternative to traditional beach vacations. Forest bathing is an opportunity to slow down, spend quality time together, and allow nature to recharge you – regardless of the weather.”
She also added:
“It is a chance to truly enjoy an autumn 'playcation', where families can relish simple moments and recharge – from watching squirrels to collecting acorns, exploring forest trails, or trying numerous indoor activities at our cabins and holiday parks.”
Hoseasons offers over 29,000 places to stay across the UK and has prepared a list of the best locations for forest bathing.
