Trump urged the UN to take action: the US has settled eight wars in a year

According to ТСН: US President Donald Trump expressed his dissatisfaction with the actions of the United Nations (UN) due to its insufficient activity in resolving armed conflicts. He noted that his administration "settled eight wars in the last 11 months."

Trump shared his thoughts on the social network Truth Social. He wrote:

"The United States has become the true United Nations, which has provided very little help in any of them [armed conflicts], including the disaster currently occurring between Russia and Ukraine. The United Nations must start showing activity and participate in ensuring peace worldwide!"

Trump also announced the signing of an agreement to cease hostilities between Thailand and Cambodia, which was signed the day before. Immediately after the signing in December, conflicts in the border area between these countries resumed, despite the ceasefire agreement reached in the summer and the peace agreement mediated by the US, China, and Malaysia in October.

According to Trump, a swift and decisive ceasefire agreement between neighboring countries in Southeast Asia should be "as it should be in such situations."

A meeting is planned for December 28 between Presidents Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky in Palm Beach, Florida. After that, communication with European leaders is planned. Before the negotiations with Zelensky, Trump also had a conversation with President of Russia Vladimir Putin.

This event highlights the importance of international diplomacy, especially amid tensions in various regions of the world. The meeting between Trump and Zelensky could deepen cooperation between the US and Ukraine and influence the upcoming peace negotiations in Europe and Asia.
