Antonina Konovalova, a trusted person of Sviatlana Tikhanovskaya during the 2020 presidential elections, was released from prison in Belarus, her mother, Anna Konovalova, reported on social media.
The circumstances of her release are currently unknown. She was arrested on September 6, 2020.
During this time, her mother, along with three young children aged 10, 8, and 6 years, awaited her daughter's freedom.
Today is the happiest day of our lives. My daughter is finally free! We have been waiting for this moment with such trepidation and hope that everything will be fine. She is free, and that is the most important thing. The children missed their mother so much. Every word they said, every tear in their eyes broke my heart, but I always believed that this day would come.
