Emergency power outages throughout Ukraine: schedules are no longer valid.
According to ТСН: On December 9, emergency power outages were implemented in many regions of Ukraine. The previously announced blackout schedules in areas where these measures are in effect are no longer relevant.
This information was made public by "Ukrenergo". Emergency outages became necessary due to the consequences of large-scale missile and drone attacks that occurred earlier.
"Previously announced blackout schedules in regions where emergency outages are applied are currently not in effect. Energetics are working to restore stable electricity supply as soon as possible," said the statement from "Ukrenergo".
Emergency power outages will be lifted when the situation in the energy system is normalized.
It should be noted that in the morning of December 9, emergency outages were implemented in a number of areas, including Kharkiv, Poltava, and Sumy regions. "Ukrenergo" indicated that power outages will be lifted as soon as the consequences of the attacks are eliminated.
Later that same day, Kyiv and several regions received updated schedules for stabilization power outages.
The implementation of emergency outages indicates serious problems in the energy system that require urgent response. The restoration of stable electricity supply depends on the speed of eliminating the consequences of attacks on energy infrastructure. The situation in the country remains complicated, but energetics are doing everything possible to return to the usual mode of operation.
